We are a well-established two doctor small animal practice located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Mount Airy NC. We are looking for a another associate to join our team! We pride ourselves in our loyal client base that is driven by our high level of care and attention. We have digital radiography, endoscope, ultrasound and in house Idexx Lab station. We have an excellent and experienced support team to assist our doctor's. Our senior doctor is looking to slow down so buy in options may be available.
Examine and treat animals by appointment.
Cultivate positive relationships with clients and their pets through regular communication and excellent record-keeping
Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care
Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm medications, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care
Perform or assist with surgeries
Train new veterinary assistants and other members of the support staff
