Criticalists– consider joining the team at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Services. Residents are encouraged to apply . What we offer:  
•    A 25,000-square foot hospital with a large ICU, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, blood bank, telemetry, mechanical ventilator, in-house NOVA and IDEXX lab, and two surgery suites, with plans for a 3rd. We are a Level 1 VECCS certified hospital. A newly renovated waiting room has a cats-only area.
•    An amazing group of specialists who work with you to help your cases: internal medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, and oncology. An ECC team consisting of 3 criticalists (one of them is YOU), 6 experienced full time ER doctors, and 6 rotating interns. 
•    Qualified, dedicated and compassionate support staff. 
•    Emphasis on maintaining a work life balance and an aim to create schedules that meet everyone’s personal needs. Paid parental leave.
•    An annual total hospital caseload of >21,000 patients
•    Partnership with the teaching hospital of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University to bring you many resources such as access to the zoom rounds and presentations, library consortium, clinical pathology experts, clinical trials collaboration, research resources, IT and video conferencing support, online training in many programs, grief resources and so much more.
•    An independently run and managed private, not-for-profit hospital that strives to be efficient and customer service-oriented.
•    Veterinarians and support staff leaders who are strongly encouraged to participate in communication, coordination, out-of-the-box thinking, resource allocation, problem solving, and setting priorities and goals to achieve the hospital YOU want to work at.

About Tufts VETS
Tufts VETS is a 24-hour, specialty and emergency hospital located in Walpole, Massachusetts. Our 25,000-square foot hospital provides a large ICU, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, a blood bank, and two surgery suites. Our dedicated referral base and emergency service provide a multitude of challenging cases. We offer a collegial working environment with highly trained and compassionate support staff. Tufts VETS has 12 board-certified specialists in internal medicine, emergency and critical care, surgery, anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology and oncology. Additionally, we have 4 post-graduate trained emergency doctors, 10 E/CC residents, and 5 rotating interns. We strive for a positive learning environment with opportunities to teach and mentor students, interns and residents. We maintain a strong affiliation with Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.A strong work ethic and a willingness to bring a collegial attitude are welcomed. The ideal candidate would be internship-trained with emergency experience, bring a collegial attitude and a desire to evolve clinical skills.
