Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries
  • Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
  • Perform surgeries and dentistries as needed
  • Keep quality / accurate medical records
  • Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all; staff, clients, and pets

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree 
  • Ability to attain Maine Veterinary License

We are the Bangor area’s most devoted exotics vet! Our ability to care for your entire pet family; at last count, our patient census was 38% dogs, 32% cats, and 30% “exotic” pets!

River Road Veterinary Hospital is located in Orrington, Maine. There’s plenty to do; hiking, kayaking, lots of outdoor activities and an active music/arts community. The city of Bangor and the International Airport are just minutes away. Bangor’s historic downtown is full of new shops, boutiques and award-winning restaurants. The Bangor Waterfront is now a major regional event center with premier concerts and events. And, Bar Harbor, Maine, home of the world-renowned Acadia National Park is about an hour’s drive away!
