We focus on affordable veterinary care with a large emphasis on spay/neuter and other surgeries (mass removal, amputations, eye enucleations, dental, etc.). We also see some exotics. We have in-house x-rays, blood machines, urinalysis, and ultrasound.
We work closely with 20+ local rescues to provide health certification exams for transport, dedicated spay/neuter days, and providing for medical needs of their shelter pets. Our community shelters and humane societies work with MKHP on grants to provide spay/neuter to community cats both domestic and in feral communities
Our mobile unit has begun to travel again. We recently joined with a local rescue to sponsor a vaccine clinic with the rescue providing free microchips. MKHP also coordinates several monthly transport days with shelters to help clients who are unable to get to the clinic.
