Middle River Veterinary Hospital is a small independently owned companion animal hospital in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We are seeking to add a Veterinarian to our team. We offer flexible scheduling with no after-hours or weekends, so you will have time to enjoy all the cultural and recreational activities nearby. If you enjoy music, art, theater, history, great food, craft wine and beer, hiking, camping, river sports, cycling, equine activities or dog sports, you will find all this and more! Our support team includes 2 licensed veterinary technicians, 2 veterinary assistants, and 1 customer service specialist. We value mentoring and often have a veterinary technician student or high school mentorship student on our team as well.
We have 100% computerized medical records (ezyVet) and our spacious free-standing facility includes in-house Idexx Catalyst and LaserCyte, digital radiography and digital dental radiography. Emergency care and specialty referral are readily available. We do not offer boarding or routine grooming, so we can concentrate on veterinary care.
We are looking for a team player with great communication skills to provide primary care medicine and surgery for dogs and cats and the occasional pocket pet. Interest in surgery, dental care and pet behavior a plus. Ownership potential.
Will need VA license and DEA license.
