Oradell Animal Hospital, located in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking applicants for a board certified or board eligible exotic animal specialist to join our veterinary team. Qualifications: Candidates may have completed an avian residency, an exotic companion mammal residency or a reptile and amphibian residency and may be board certified or board eligible. Alternately, the hospital will also consider candidates with a strong exotic animal background who are committed to completing all steps required to achieve ABVP board certification in Reptile/Amphibian, Avian or Exotic Companion Mammal Practice in the practitioner tract. Qualified applicants are expected to be highly motivated and able to participate in our team setting, and to enjoy working with a wide range of exotic species.

Hospital Description: Oradell Animal Hospital has been providing small animal and exotic care for the residents of northern New Jersey for 60 years. The hospital is located in a highly populated area and is privileged to serve a clientele committed to quality pet care. We are a full service, AHAA accredited hospital with 65 veterinarians including interns, residents, general practitioners and board certified specialists in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, Nutrition, Primary Care, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Radiology, Neurology, and Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Oradell Animal Hospital is open 24/7 and is a VetCOT certified Level II Veterinary Trauma Center, as well as a certified Level II VECCS Facility. Diagnostic imaging services include a 1.5T MRI, a 16-slice CT, C-arm fluoroscopy, multiple ultrasound machines for abdominal, thoracic/cardiac and AFAST/TFAST studies and equipment for arthroscopy and laparoscopy. We have a dedicated exotics ward and equipment for hospitalization, oxygen support, nebulization and small mammal dentistry.
