We are searching for an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our team. Our practice is privately owned and well-established with multi-doctors and a great management team. We are a long term AAHA accredited practice. We see dogs, cats, birds, and exotics. The Veterinary Technician at our practice acts under the direct guidance and supervision of the veterinarians and the management team to provide animal care and treatments, client service and education and to assist in maintaining overall hospital cleanliness. The Veterinary Technician should be proactive in helping to improve the overall quality of care given to our patients and to work with fellow team members to maintain the quality standards of the hospital.
Technicians should have the ability to perform with proficiency all duties required of a licensed veterinary technician or of a well skilled and experienced unlicensed technician. Individuals should possess the ability to show leadership towards veterinary assistants and kennel staff; the ability to perform their duties with or without supervision; the ability to appropriately delegate tasks when needed as well as to work in cooperation with all coworkers towards meeting the hospitals high quality standards.
We prefer those with previous avian and exotic experience but are willing to train those interested.

LVT or comparable license or experience. Prefer avian and exotic experience as well but will train the right candidate with previous strong technical experience.
