Helping Hands is a unique veterinary experience. Our formula is simple: we only perform outpatient surgeries and dental procedures. By cutting out other services like exams, diagnostics, and overnight hospitalizations, among others, we help provide pets with the surgical and dental services they need without causing undue financial stress to their owners.
Helping Hands started as a dream of Dr. Lori Pasternak who worked weekends at a low cost spay / neuter clinic and loved the idea of doing only surgery all day. At the same time, Dr. Pasternak worked at a veterinary clinic where she was able to develop her surgical skills during a variety of surgical procedures. After some time, Dr. Pasternak wondered if she could do surgeries for clients and dentals all day every day without being limited to helping patients due to the clients’ financial constraints. With hard work, Dr. Pasternak did just that and Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic quickly grew to what it is today.
As a member of the doctor team, you are supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team, who provide exceptional client education for you, to aid in patient case success. At Helping Hands, doctors are encouraged to focus on surgical and dentistry skills, not spend their time in the exam room.
Our culture can be described in one word: family. We are driven by our mission to help families obtain surgical and dental care for their pets. As a team we embrace the challenges we face, are motivated to learn, to improve, and are proud of what we do each day. We share in our successes and our failures and encourage the team to grow together.
If you feel that we would be a great fit for you, we would love to talk with you. Don’t miss this awesome opportunity!
We are seeking a doctor team member, armed with some basic surgical skills to build on, such as spays, neuters and dermal growth removals. In addition, we would love to meet you if you have some comfort performing dental extractions and possess dental radiographic interpretation skills. Ability to exhibit advanced skill in either surgery or dental is welcome.
