Tired of the daily caseload of vaccinations, but not quite ready for the variety of critical care cases? Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center , located in Central Point, Oregon, is looking to hire an Urgent Care Veterinarian that focuses on non-critical cases that enter the emergency department.

Our brand new Urgent Care is located in a separate 6,000 sq. ft. building that houses numerous exam rooms, surgery suite and kennels.  

We are interested in speaking to internship-trained candidates, experienced GP and ER clinicians for part-time or full-time positions.

SOVSC is well appointed with staff and equipment to support our Urgent Care team, including:

• 24-hour support by our experienced ER and Critical Care DVM team
• Internal Medicine and Surgical departments for consultation and advanced care
• Over 100 team members, including more than 20 CVT’s
• Digital radiography, ultrasonography and CT imaging
• Endoscopy, Arthroscopy, and Brochoscopy
• State-of-the-art medical monitoring, telemetry, and a comprehensive blood lab
• Two newly built facilities with multiple surgical and isolation suites
