We are looking for a veterinarian to join our two Doctor GP, small-animal practice!  Great hours, great pay in a newly renovated hospital.  This is an ideal job with 8a-5p hours, 4 days a week and every other Saturday 8:30-1.  That's 36-40 hours a week including breaks!

Our practice is located in a quiet, small town right next to the University of Connecticut with plenty to do with a short drive.  We are close to Boston, Providence and NYC, yet also close to the mountains, lakes, hiking, you name it. 

We are part of a local, private network of 3 practices with 11 veterinarians that treat all species (although only small animals at this location).   This allows collaboration, referral, diagnostic and hospitalization support.  You get the benefit of a small practice with the amenities of a large one!  Our veterinarians are open-minded, hard-working, collaborative and caring.  

Our clientele allows us to practice progressive, high-quality medicine, dentistry and surgery.  We have in-house blood machines, UA analyzer, high-end digital X-ray and ultrasound, laser, cryosurgery, surgical suite, dental suite with dental x-ray, etc.

The most important thing we are looking for is someone who truly cares about clients and their animals.  We go further than the extra mile for our clients, which is what has and will continue to set us apart.  Client communication is crucial and we are looking for someone who can effectively read and communicate with any and every type of client.  Our hospitals are located in fantastic towns that support our practice (Tolland, Stafford and Ashford).  We are right on the edge between suburban and rural living and are located within 20 minutes of anything you like to do for fun.    

Salary is dependent on experience and abilities, but it's very good and there are always opportunities to increase your pay or pick-up additional shifts at other hospitals.
