Litchfield Veterinary Hospital is a Fear Free and Feline Friendly five doctor practice looking for a Full or Part Time Associate Veterinarian.  We offer flexible scheduling and each doctor is given an assigned hour block mid day to write up EMRs and communicate with clients, in addition to an hour lunch block.  We are located in Litchfield Connecticut. A town recognized for  rich history, scenic beauty and nature preserves, outdoor activities, shopping, dining, signature community events, and great people!  

Our team of doctors work well together, support each other,  and are committed to practicing exceptional medical and surgical care in a fear free environment. Our welcoming facility has six exam rooms and a dedicated comfort room.  Our contemporary equipment includes: an endoscope, flexible rhinoscope, rigid otoscope, and a Voyant vessel sealer, in house complete laboratory, Cauttro high definition digital radiography, digital dental radiography, an Xario Ultrasound, a doctorVet therapeutic laser and so much more!

We leverage your time and expertise with a support staff to doctor ratio of greater than 3:1.  We have 5 Certified Technicians and 7 highly trained Veterinary Assistants.  Veterinarians are assigned two highly-trained team members (A Technician and Assistant) ensuring optimal flow and support while seeing appointments.

New graduates are welcome and afforded excellent mentorship.

Litchfield Veterinary Hospital is a thriving privately owned practice that cherishes a quality work-life balance.  Full Time Veterinarians have a 4 day work week and are required to work only one Saturday per month.  (A Part Time Position offers great scheduling flexibility.)   Our Doctors are not on call and there are no overnights.

Competitive pay commensurate with experience.  Single policy major medical insurance; 401(k); PTO; CE Allowance; Liability Insurance; CT and DEA license renewals; AVMA, CVMA and VIN Membership dues; Uniform and jacket allowance; 6 paid major holidays.  Relocation costs covered and rental assistance for 12 months. (Prorated benefits for Part Time Associates are available based on hours worked)
