Waverly Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the Lansing, Michigan community since 1962. Known for not only being Michigan’s State Capital, but also Michigan’s Festival Capital. Practice Overview
Here at Waverly Animal Hospital, our mission is to provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine and kennel service to our clients. Our veterinary staff is committed,  responsive, and dedicated  to providing  individualized attention and customer satisfaction. Our hospital has been proudly AAHA accredited since 1970, our staff takes pride in being the best in the area. From routine care to surgery, here at Waverly Animal Hospital, our well-rounded staff is able to offer everything needed for each patient. We believe knowledge is power, we love to collaborate and mentor not only our patient’s owners, but our staff as well.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of animal cases
  • Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
  • Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
  • Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork

Qualifications

  • Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
  • Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Michigan
  • Two years of experience preferred, new grads encouraged to apply
  • Experience or interest in working with exotics is preferred
  • Experience working in dentistry, sonography, acupuncture and/or rehabilitation cases preferred
  • Experience working orthopedic surgical cases is a PLUS!
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
