Established in 1989, the Animal Clinic of Monett is a fast-paced, truly mixed-animal practice located in southwest Missouri. Big or small we see them all! About 55% of our business is made up of cattle work: (Beef 45% and Dairy 10%) The remaining other half consists mostly of companion animal along with the occasional exotic and equine work. In addition, we also provide veterinary services to Joplin Regional Stockyards where we maintain an office on premises with a fully stocked inventory. Our team is dedicated to providing the best and most comprehensive medical/surgical care for our patients. We are committed to educate our clients on how to keep their pets happy and healthy all year round!  We also have a wildlife rehabilitation permit and 2 areas allocated for that use.

Large Animal Facilities

Haul-in facility equipped with a Flying W hydraulic squeeze/tilt chute, interior equine stocks and box stall, 2 IBEX portable ultrasound units are available for on farm use & 1 Aloka for in-clinic use, Bowie portable radiology equipment, we offer a large volume of product sales to our clients as well and have abundant storage space to  handle the large volume of medical supplies and mineral sales, we are in the process of building a second working facility to accommodate additional haul in work as well.

 Small Animal Facilities:

4 exam rooms, surgery suite, dental services, digital radiograph equipment, 2 ultrasound units, Arthrex orthopedics equipment, in-house diagnostics with updated Idexx laboratory (2 IDEXX Catalysts, SediVue & Procyte, on site groomer, boarding for client pets in our 20 indoor/outdoor kennel boarding facility with two separate outdoor play areas, private cat only boarding units, separate isolation ward and exam room.

Training Required:  DVM and ability to obtain Missouri licensure. Federal accreditation is also required

Experience:  New graduates or seasoned practitioners are encouraged to apply. Ample mentorship is available as we have over 80 years of combined experience. Practice owner also has education experience teaching Veterinary Medicine undergraduates for a year at Missouri State University.
