Veterinary Externship – All Pets Animal Hospital & 24-Hour Emergency Care – Katy, TX

All Pets Animal Hospital & 24-Hour Emergency Care is part of the Lakefield Veterinary Group—a family-owned company that offers support and resources to hospital teams while empowering them to make decisions about how they practice medicine and show up for their communities. 

All Pets Animal Hospital & 24-Hour Emergency Care offers an exciting and rewarding Externship for veterinary students in an AVMA accredited veterinary program who want to gain experience in a private practice setting. Externs will be exposed to AAHA, AAFP, Fear Free, and VECCS standards and will have the opportunity to work in 24-Hour general practice and emergency/critical care settings assisting in surgery, emergency, and other challenging cases. Students will be mentored by our medical directors and will interact with all associates and referral specialists. All expenses (travel, lodging, meals, associated travel expenses) are covered.

• We offer grooming and boarding services and hope to add acupuncture services by the third quarter of 2022

We have a new modern facility built in March of 2011, which is a 2012 Veterinary Economic Merit Award winning facility. We also have received the Greater Houston Better Business Bureau Award for Excellence annually since 2013. In 2020, Dr. Pat Choyce, hospital founder, co-owner, and medical director, entered a joint venture partnership with Lakefield Veterinary Group to dramatically expand the practice potential and create more opportunity for his team.
