VCA Adams Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our fantastic team!

A little about us.  VCA Adams Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, preventative, surgical and dental care.  We are AAHA accredited, AAFP Certified Gold Cat Friendly and have several Fear Free Certified Professionals on staff.  Our highly skilled, well utilized team prides themselves on exceptional care, personal customer service and is consistently seeking to improve themselves and our hospital.  We all work great together and play together as well.  Our practice culture emphasizes having a healthy work-life balance, we are not open late nights, major holidays and there are no on-call shifts required.  

A little about where we're located.  Athol Massachusetts is up and coming with new shopping centers, restaurants, schools, and emergency services all built within the last few years.  Perks of our area include a lower cost of living (think lower rent or bigger home for the money), smaller town feel with the amenities of a more suburban area.  We are very close to the Quabbin Reservoir and Tully Lake offering many opportunities for hiking, kayaking, fishing and other outdoor recreation.  Soaking up the sun on a beach or skiing down a mountain is a short drive away.   

A little bit about who we're looking for.  Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team environment.  Desire to grow with us and yourself.  Have an interest(s) you are passionate about that you can share with us.      

Although we would prefer veterinarians with at least one year of experience, new graduates are also encouraged to apply as we have mentorship programs available.
