Online appointments (the practice of telehealth and/or telemedicine) improves overarching pet wellness through the provision of quality, reliable pet healthcare services. Pet parents are inclined to proactively address their pet health concerns, including ancillary concerns such as dietary and behavioural, through online appointments, as barriers to care, such as time, energy and financial resources, are greatly reduced or eliminated entirely.

As a veterinary professional on Vetster, you are contributing to a network of professionals committed to replacing Dr. Google with reliable, accurate advice and care. Furthermore, you are meeting the evolving needs of clients, whose expectations reflect the convenience offered by modern technology.

About the Role

Have you ever wished for increased flexibility in your working schedule? When you provide telehealth and/or telemedicine services through Vetster, you are working on your own time, from any location of your choice (so long as it has internet access!). 

Joining Vetster as an independent contractor begins by signing up at https://vetster.com/for-vets/. Creating your profile is easy and takes less than five minutes. A member of our team will then verify your credentials (to ensure the general public is not receiving veterinary advice from a non-veterinary professional), and you can expect to receive an email once your profile has been approved.

Set your own hours of availability and charge a rate that reflects your experience and expertise. Begin practicing telehealth, or if your state/province permits, telemedicine as soon as you are ready! You’ll receive notifications via text and email every time a pet parent books an online appointment.  

Compensation

Veterinarians on Vetster charge a minimum of $50 USD per appointment. Each appointment is 30 minutes in length. You are welcome to set your own rate, up to a maximum of $350 USD per appointment.
