PriorityVet is the only company building STAND-ALONE, TRUE URGENT CARE PRACTICES in the greater NJ region. We diverge from traditional ERs and urgent care "departments" currently available for after-hours care. We have reduced wait times, lower bills and less stress by design. We provide no routine care, ever, thereby promoting referrals from surrounding practices. Our pilot practice is thriving in Toms River. Our second location is scheduled to open in a few months in Howell. The target for number 3 is the Mercer County area.

Our growth model is also divergent from the current consolidation and private equity frenzy. We are actively seeking strategic investing partners to co-own and provide full-time (7 shifts/pay period) veterinary care at additional locations throughout New Jersey (and beyond). We share some risk. You provide some labor. We provide the recipe for success, management, recruiting, HR, etc. so that you can focus on medicine and work-life balance.

PriorityVet is an exciting and unique practice located at the Jersey Shore. We are the first and only after-hours urgent care facility for dogs and cats in Toms River. Our second location is in the works in Howell. We are developing opportunities in the Greater New Jersey area and welcome strategic partners interested in growing the true Urgent Care model. We are NOT your typical veterinary emergency hospital! Our business hours are 4pm to 11pm daily (excluding major holidays), promoting a healthy work-life balance and allowing for the recruitment of well-qualified staff. We cater to the needs of pet owners presenting with the approximately 85% of evening cases that are not "true emergencies". Pets are treated on an out-patient basis with short-term admission for diagnostics and minor anesthetic procedures (lacerations, urethral obstruction, splinting, etc). Pets requiring prolonged anesthesia, major emergency surgery, hospitalization or overnight care are referred to the closest 24-hour referral institution following any necessary emergent interventions. Pets are typically directed back to their family veterinarian for follow-up care. No routine care is provided.... We incorporate Fear Free techniques into our practice to foster less stressful visits for all involved. We are fully equipped with electric lift tables in exam rooms and treatment area, in-house laboratory, digital radiography, Tonopen, ultrasound, EKG-defibrillator, blood pressure, pulse-oximetry and cloud-based practice software. Our clinicians need not compete with other departments for facility resources. Our compensation packages are tailored to the needs of employees.
