Kona Veterinary Service now has two locations on the big island of Hawaii! Our original location, in Kailua Kona, and our newly opened location in Waikoloa Village. Kona Veterinary Service currently has a fantastic team of 5 doctors and would like to add an additional doctor to the team.  We are a small animal practice fully equipped with digital imaging, ultrasound, and in house lab equipment to serve our community with a high standard of care.  The services of veterinary specialists are utilized routinely, both in person at our office, and via telemedicine. Our doctors share a rotating on call schedule with afterhours emergency visits treated at our Kona office.  Full time doctors work 4 weekdays plus a rotating Saturday shift/emergency on call weekend.  We are open to discussing alternative permanent schedules as well, such as weekend only or overnight shifts for those who have an interest in those types of schedules.
