The proposed schedule is one that fits the needs of the hospital and the current needs of the DVM in the group.  Changes to the schedule are possible - this happens as the wants and needs of the members evolve and benefit for those affected is determined by agreement. (We won't demand a a schedule change without checking with you)

Schedule

Note that we schedule a support vet in conjunction with the vet on duty.  The support vet is in proximity to offer assistance with surgeries or high patient numbers as well as advice and opinions remotely.  

• On duty:
  • Wk 1 Wednesday 6 p to 8 am, Friday 8 am to 6 pm
  • Wk 2 Friday 8 am to 6 pm
• On call as support for on duty vet.
  •  Friday 6 pm to Saturday 8 pm
    • This is 24 hours per week scheduled as the support vet.  This position would include covering two shifts as support vet.  Support position is loved by those on duty (you have one), returning the favor here.
• Covering vacations for other vets adds a max of 21 shifts - these can be flexible and are intended to be scheduled several months in advance.
