Best Friends Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited hospital. We take pride in making sure that every patient is treated with the loving care that we would share with our own pets. We are also committed to a process of continuous improvement and offer special services like laparoscopy, ultrasonography, and laser therapy to enhance our diagnostic and treatment capabilities.   

We are looking for a hardworking veterinarian who is excited by leadership roles and high-level medicine! With our amazing and caring staff, we would support any vet who's on the team because our goal is to help each other get where they'd like to be as a vet!

• Current Hours: Mon – Tue 8:00am - 6:00pm | Wed-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm | Sat 8:00am - 12:00pm

Responsibilities  

***Willing to provide training and CE to develop desired skills listed below***

• Primary care veterinary medicine for dogs and cats through all stages of life. 
• General surgery 
• General Dentistry  
• Wound care 
• Chronic disease management 
• Acute disease triage and management 
• Collaborative participation as part of the medical team 
• Professional development 
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, team members, and clients. 
• Positive attitude 

Skills * Diagnostic skills  

• Leadership skills! Preferably with some type of past of leadership role/ experience, doesn't have to be vet-med related. 
• Problem-solving skills 
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language 
• Soft Skills: Integrity; respectful; collaborative, patient, compassionate, responsible, reliable 
• Team player with high energy. Low drama support staff 

Schedule:  

• Flexible weekday daytime schedule with rotating Saturdays based on hospital need 

Education:  

• DVM or equivalent 

License/Certification:  

• NH License to practice Veterinary medicine (Preferred) 

Work Location: One location
