A practice manager brings the ability to combine top notch care with team wellbeing in a manner unmatched to many practices.  At Crosslake Veterinary Hospital, we need a focused leader of our team to drive our needs as humans to fully meet our potential in veterinary medicine.  This position will not only strive to meet financial goals, but to balance efficiency with a healthy workload.  When the daily caseload is full, a well-managed team is what brings joy to result in a rewarding end.

The practice manager will lead a team of 15-20 employees while working closely alongside the hospital administrator to strengthen protocols and drive change when needed in alignment with hospital core values.  Experience within the field of veterinary medicine is essential to effectively convey integrity across all team levels by stepping in when a helping hand is needed.  The candidate must equally value data analysis as much as leading by example and being adaptable to industry trends.

Compensation for this full-time position is salary.  Benefits package includes group medical, dental, and vision insurance with company coverage of 75% of premiums, company-paid short term disability coverage, matching IRA, paid time off and holiday pay, generous continuing education pay and additional paid CE time off, paid VHMA dues and additional organizations of your choice, employee discounts and access to supplemental insurance.

Candidate must have at least 3 years experience in the veterinary industry with previous management duties.

Crosslake Veterinary Hospital is a three-doctor companion animal practice, nestled in Crosslake, MN on the beautiful Whitefish Chain of Lakes. This town boasts beautiful lakeshore properties, endless outdoor activities on and off the lakes, shops and eateries for locals and visitors alike, and a growing year-round population. Crosslake Veterinary Hospital is a privately-owned practice focused on being a strength to the community. A brand new expansive facility with advanced medical equipment allows us the tools to provide gold-standard care, but it is our patient care, thorough character, and attention to managing the whole picture that sets us apart. Crosslake Veterinary Hospital has 5 exam rooms, separate feline and canine hospitalization wards, 3-table treatment space, double surgery suite, double dental suite and a dedicated isolation room. Our equipment consists of in-house IDEXX lab equipment complete with urine sediment analysis and coagulation profiles, full body digital radiography, digital dental radiography, GE ultrasound with color flow, sevoflurane gas anesthesia, full anesthesia monitoring equipment, and multiple IV and syringe pumps for constant rate infusions.... We have a brand new spacious employee break room and our associates and management team have a dedicated office space away from the main workflow. Our ability to work as a cohesive team allows us to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions, and our clientele provide us with the opportunity to maximize the use of equipment and expertise.
