Mandak Veterinary Services in Ballston Spa, NY is an independently owned practice seeking a full or part time Veterinarian to join our team. Dr. Teddy, the owner of the practice, began over 20 years ago practicing as a solo veterinarian out of a single room on her family’s farm. Over the years Dr. Teddy has developed an excellent reputation for leading a practice with caring and compassionate associates and staff. Today Mandak Vet consists of a 7-exam room hospital with a designated Euthanasia room, surgical suite and large treatment area. We are a well-established, family-like practice offering quality veterinary medicine to our community. Mandak Vet has in-house lab equipment, digital x-ray, ultrasound and Companion laser to offer to our clients. We offer spinal manipulation, acupuncture and laser therapy to our clients who are looking for alternative therapies as well. Currently we are a primarily small animal clinic, but we do have very occasional equine and small ruminants who come to the clinic for treatment (working on these patients is completely optional!). We pride ourselves on being friendly, compassionate, and down to earth, making our clients feel at home and comfortable. We have adequate, well- trained staffing for the workload, pride ourselves on working as a team and providing a healthy work- life balance. Mandak Vet was recently voted as “Best of the Best” for Veterinarians in our capital region by The Daily Gazette newspaper out of 21 local hospitals that were nominated. We are looking for an associate Veterinarian who is confident, personable, down to earth and willing to work independently or in a group. You must be available to work one to two Saturdays per month, 9am-12pm in addition to weekday hours which consists of a 4-day work week for full time veterinarians (we do try to offer “surprise/bonus” time off occasionally when a relief veterinarian is available).
