Every day we work with horses, from beloved back yard pets to million-dollar equine athletes. Veterinary technicians:

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgery
• Prepare patients for surgery
• Assistant the surgeon during surgery
• In charge of post operative care
• Take care of foals in our equine neonatal intensive unit
• Collect and run lab work
• Help manage intensive medical cases
• Experience a variety of cases on ambulatory calls
• Working up patients in hospital
• Learn to use state of the art equipment
