Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a full or part time veterinarian to join our growing practice. We are located in the rapidly growing and diverse Stadium District neighborhood of Tacoma, 30 miles south of Seattle with a fantastic and committed client base. 

We offer full in-house laboratory, digital dental/X-rays, ultrasound, and the tools you need to practice quality medicine.  We offer full medical/surgical services along with routine/urgent care AND we team up with top Orthopedic, Cardiac, and Ultrasound specialists to offer these important services “IN HOSPITAL” for increased comfort for our patients and increased convenience for our client 

We encourage a culture that values integrity, compassion, and quality care with an emphasis on low stress/fear free techniques. Our team includes experienced licensed technicians and trained assistants.  We offer a modern, large, spacious working area, a large treatment area, an in-house laboratory, a fully stocked pharmacy, digital radiography- with files read by a boarded radiologist, digital dental x-rays and ultrasound. We refer after hour emergencies to local emergency veterinarians giving you the ability to have a family- friendly 3-4 work day schedule, meaning no on-call and of course, no weekends! We like to wrap up our days with wellness appointments as well.
