Pet Wellness is a small animal, private practice located in the Vestavia area of Birmingham, AL close to great dining, night life, family friendly activities and much more!

Modern, large and beautiful facility seeing small animals. We are seeking a Veterinarian wanting to help grow a practice, a good bed side manner, and the desire to be part of a continuously learning team. Candidate must be open to Fear Free techniques that promote a less stressful environment and fun, friendly visits for our patients.

Practice has wonderful equipment including full in-house laboratory equipment, DR x-ray and ultrasound, with dental x-ray to come in the future. Heavy emphasis on client communication and education through text messaging, email and in person procedures. Practice is paper lite with electronic medical records.

Annual salary of $120,00 (full-time) and $85,000 (part-time) with an additional $5,000 signing bonus, and $5,000 retention bonus at end of year 1, production bonus opportunity, generous CE allowance, competitive benefits including health, dental and vision insurance paid by the hospital. Relocation fees for the right candidate. Rotating work schedule consists of every other weekend, no nights and no on-call hours. Alternating days off gives a 3-day weekend once per month.
