Are you looking for an AAHA-accredited and Certified Feline Friendly hospital to practice medicine alongside an experienced support staff? Then come join us at Happy Valley Veterinary Hospital!

We are looking for a full-time or part-time veterinarian with NO on-call or after-hours.

You will be working alongside two other veterinarians with a very collaborative relationship. We see canines, felines, and pocket pets. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience with pocket pets (mainly ferrets, gerbils, hamsters, and occasionally chickens) or interested in working with them, but not mandatory. 

Our hospital is AAHA-accredited and Certified Feline Friendly. We are proud to have a beautiful progressive facility including ultrasound, digital radiograph, digital dental x-ray, in-house labs, Cubex Inventory Management machine, and a full surgery suite. If desired, a full surgery day can be part of the schedule.

Our Clients - Happy Valley is a beautiful, booming suburb of Portland. We are in an affluent neighborhood, only a few miles from large farming areas. We have a large client base with thousands of long-term clients. Offering Care Companion Wellness Plans to our clients allows us to actively be a part of our patients' lives - often seeing them from puppy/kitten to end of life.

Our Doctors - Collaboration is what we strive for. We focus on having strong communication and making decisions as a team. Monthly manager/doctor meetings and staff meetings allow us to set goals and educate our assistants to be a cohesive team.
