Animal Clinic Del Rancho is looking for a Lead Veterinary Technician (CVT or equivalent experience) to support and mentor our team!

The Lead Veterinary Technician performs all duties of a Veterinary Technician as well as the following:
*Leads and mentors our team while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
*Addresses staffing needs including, hiring, training, reviewing, and resolving conflict.
*Partners with the Practice Manager, Veterinarians, and staff in organizing the team.
*Schedules Veterinary Technicians' and Assistants' shifts.
*Attends and participates in staff and leadership meetings. Also organizes and conducts monthly tech meetings.
*Utilized multiple computer software programs including Microsoft Office, Word, and excel, and become proficient with our management software.
*Maintains inventory use and works within a budget for ordering weekly hospital stock.
*Develops and implements hospital policy including DEA/Controlled Substances, OSHA compliance and AAHA.
*Demonstrates and reinforces the highest level of customer service.
