We are seeking a Medical Director for our Country Brook Animal Hospital, who can help us continue our legacy of superb tailored veterinary care and champion innovative programs for growth. Requirements:
- 5 years of experience preferred
- Texas Licensure
- Currently has federal DEA licenses or is eligible to obtain upon hire
- Proficiency in internal medicine, diagnostics, and preventive care
- General surgery and general dentistry are preferred, but not required
- Computer-savvy and familiar with veterinary practice management systems (PMS)
- Strong communicator, who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- An ethical person who possesses positive emotional intelligence skills, including the ability to coach, correct, develop, and motivate employees
- A leader who can provide the oversight necessary to ensure that the practice’s standard of care adheres to current, nationally accepted medical standards and guidelines for the practice of veterinary medicine
- Able to take responsibility for the financial performance of the hospital including revenue and hospital growth, inclusive of managing hospital expenses and monitoring key financial reports
