Twin Oaks Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time associate veterinarian.  We are a very busy mixed animal practice, located in the beautiful mountains of North Western North Carolina and are within minutes of the New River and Blue Ridge Parkway.  We are a true mixed animal practice with 80% small animal and 20% large animal (equine, beef, dairy and other food animals).  We have an excellent support staff with great mentorship so new graduates are encouraged to apply.  Our equipment includes portable and in house digital radiology, ultrasound, Idexx Procyte and catalyst blood machines, urinary analysis Sedivue equipment, power float, and ultrasonic scaler.  We refer very few surgeries so the opportunity to perform most soft tissue and orthopedic procedures do exist.  There is shared emergency duty between 3 doctors with a personal vehicle provided and a full benefits package including continuing education.  We have a large animal barn with a chute, stocks and stalls for hospitalization. We also offer boarding and grooming services. Sparta is a rural location near great fishing, hunting, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, horseback riding, and all outdoor activities.  We are looking for an associate who will practice modern medicine with an emphasis on practical approach.  Some of the benefits we offer: fully paid health insurance, all licenses, liability insurance paid, all continuing education expenses, vehicle, maintenance and fuel. We are located in the northwestern section of North Carolina with an approximate county population of 10,000.This is a beautiful area in the Blue Ridge Mountains with the New River and Blue Ridge Parkway running thru the county. Great for outdoor activities including hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, horse back riding, etc. This practice has been in the area for 40 years with a well established, friendly clientele.
