Animal Hospitals of the Lowcountry is privately owned and operated by the same family since 1959.  We have three locations in Mt. Pleasant, the third of which is opening brand new in May, 2023.

In all three of our practices, we strive to provide the workplace culture you’ve been dreaming of. We want our associate veterinarians to have a successful career and a happy, balanced life. That is why we offer a four-day work week and are closed on weekends. In our practice, family and community are valuable. We seek quality over quantity and individual care over consolidation. The successful candidate will be a talented communicator, able to guide and teach both clients and our dynamic support team. Proficiency in surgery (dentistry and soft tissue) will be necessary.

Competence with ultrasound would be appreciated. Your confidence with other areas including preventative care, geriatric care and management of medicine cases will be vital. We also offer physical rehabilitation and acupuncture if you have training or interest in those areas.

Compensation and benefits package are very competitive. Prosal is the model we follow. Some benefits include health insurance allowance, IRA match, paid time off, paid sick time and coverage for a variety of professional fees.  We are able to consider either full time or part time options with a preference towards full time.
