It's personal for us. We grew up here in Michiana, an area in Northern Indiana. This is OUR community. We (a veterinarian and veterinary nurse) are long time friends. Lakeland Animal Care was born 6yrs ago and we nurtured it from the ground up. The foundation was built on genuine relationships, top level care and small town values. That continues to be our focus today. We are a full-service small animal hospital in a modern 5,500sqft facility providing daytime wellness, medical, surgical, dental and emergency veterinary care. We are equipped to handle even the most challenging of cases - including digital radiography, dental DR, ultrasonography, & more. We are not a vaccine or bandaid clinic. We pride ourselves on diagnosing and correcting problems. Here's some of the cool "doctoring" we did just this past week: GDV surgery, gastrotomy with foreign body removal, blood typing, collection of blood donation, blood transfusion, chemotherapy, ultrasound-guided liver aspirates, cancer staging, cystotomy with urolith removal, tracheotomy, and venous cutdowns.
