What does a ReadiVet Veterinarian actually do?

• Work side-by-side with a technician of your choosing
• Deliver the highest standard of medical care to all ReadiVet patients
• Work alongside your peers to deliver an unparalleled client experience, both in-clinic, at the client’s home, and even virtually
• Provide full-service veterinary care, whether it’s treating and diagnosing illnesses, advising pet owners on nutrition, preventative medicine, routine wellness veterinary care, surgery and more
• This position in Atlanta is for the medical director role

What is unique about our model?

• Veterinarian-centered culture and operating model
• Dedicated support staff
• Predominately in-home patient care yet still being able to perform surgeries at one of our medical hubs 
• Allotment of an hour (or more) per appointment so you can spend the time you need with your patients and clients. (No more 10-15 minute 'burn and churn' appointments that cause you to be burnt out)
• Typical day for our veterinarians is limited to 8-10 patients
• Direct interaction with leadership and influence over policies (yes, we value transparency, with clear, straightforward communication)
• Flexible and negotiable provider schedules (no more evenings, late nights or weekends)
• No on-call duty
• Daily meal breaks
• No walk-ins that lead to double or triple-booked appointments
• Medical mentorship and training on the nuances of practicing in a client’s home

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of small animal veterinary experience
• Must be punctual and able to stay on schedule
• Must be flexible and be a team player
• Must be able to quickly make independent decisions
• Must have an incredible bedside manner and excellent communication skills
• Must hold a valid DEA license
• Must have a valid Georgia veterinary license and driver's license
