Associate Veterinarian – Allison Lane

Having been founded in 1973, Allison Lane has a large, excellent loyal client base, which gives opportunity for new doctors to establish their own clientele and relationships! 

Our hospital has become a vital part of the Jeffersonville community by serving our clients and their pets with compassionate and top-notch care. We pride ourselves on providing a ‘mom and pop’ atmosphere where clients feel like family while practicing high-quality, practical medicine. We recognize that our team works hard, so we make sure to take care of each other and that we also need time to play and enjoy life too!  Being close to Louisville, we have great restaurants, parks, sports, and theatre and in just a short 15-minute drive in the opposite direction, Indiana offers great hiking and biking!

We offer diagnostic equipment including state of the art Ultrasound, Surgical and Therapy lasers, Blood pressure monitor, Digital Radiograph, a new Dental Unit, and ECG.
We offer care for small animals including canines, felines and exotics.  

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate Associate Veterinarian with a deep appreciation and commitment for veterinary medicine to join our team.  

Essential Responsibilities & Functions

• Possess the passion to provide patients with a high level of veterinary care while utilizing the latest advances in diagnostics.
• A client service mindset with desire and ability to bring, build, and retain a strong client base.
• Enthusiasm about giving back to and building relationships with the local community.
• The ability to champion the practice’s objectives and values and inspire others.
• Follow the established policies and procedures that govern the normal operation of the hospital.
• Commitment to efficiently handling caseloads and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations.
• Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage the value of teamwork.
• Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care.
• Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care.

 Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing
