We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team at our AAHA accredited practice!
Florissant Animal Hospital, our AAHA-accredited 4-doctor practice, was established in 1958 and has served our community for 61 years! We are in St. Louis, MO and North County’s only full-service veterinary hospital offering small animal medical and surgical services, boarding and grooming. We are looking for someone to join our dedicated and experienced team.
The Hospital
- Five exam rooms and a comfort room, two table surgery suite, five wards, an isolation ward, a large dog run area and an outdoor exercise area
- State-of-the-art dental suite to include two high speed units as well as digital dental radiography and all our staff have received in depth dental training
- In-house laboratory capabilities for selected blood chemistries and panels (new Idexx suite), urinalysis, sediments, cultures, PCV, TP, Felv/FIV, and various ELISA tests performed by technicians + external full service clinical and pathological laboratories
- Complete pharmacy – large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developments
- Newest version of AVImark – streamlines the management of a client database of more than 6200 patients
- Close proximity to 3 specialty referral practices and 24-hour emergency facilities

Skills and Basic Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
