Burch Creek Animal Hospital is a busy, growing practice. We are looking for an associate veterinarian that is passionate about the care they provide, seeks to build long-standing relationships with our well-established client base, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and who shares our practice philosophy.   We provide sick pet, wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue, orthopedic surgery and more in a Fear Free environment.  Our clients seek high quality medical care and allow us to perform workups for their pets.

Burch Creek Animal Hospital, in Ogden, UT, is located just 35 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Utah is one of the fastest growing states in the US; we are considered one of the greatest outdoor states in the nation with amazing national and state parks, top-rated ski resorts, biking, hiking, and plenty of fun things to do in your time off.  

We value our team and support their mental and physical well-being with a 3 to 4 day work week. No nights, weekends, holidays or after hours care!!  We have a culture of mutual respect and acceptance, teamwork and zero drama.  

We are a state-of-the-art paperless Cornerstone practice offering CO2 laser soft tissue surgery, digital whole body and dental radiology, IDEXX in house labs, Antech send out labs, new in-house ultrasound and Companion therapeutic laser just to list a few. 

We have a well-trained, competent support team. They are kind, compassionate and fun.  Our doctors enjoy a collaborative, supportive work environment and learn together over challenging cases.  We are willing to mentor new grads and are supportive of our associate’s professional goals and interests. We have many local referral specialists and two 24 hour emergency practices for after hours and specialty care.  Compensation is percentage-based with a guaranteed minimum salary and a generous benefit package that includes medical insurance, 401k match, CE, vacation, relocation allowance, etc.

About Burch Creek Animal Hospital

Burch Creek Animal Hospital is a 5 doctor, AAHA accredited, Fear Free small animal hospital. Our practice is entirely small animal, with a small amount of exotic work. The practice resides in a 6000 square foot building that was built in 1998 and has since been remodeled . We are a full-service paperless hospital offering complete small animal medicine and surgery, including orthopedics, laser surgery, therapy laser, digital radiography, in-house laboratory, dentistry including digital dental x-rays, laboratory and pharmacy. We focus on wellness and preventative care, practice fear free and our staff attempts to always deliver the highest level of customer service. We are closed on the weekends and major holidays. Our local Emergency Center takes all after-hours, holiday and weekend calls.
