McAbee Veterinary Hospital is a 10-doctor small animal practice located in beautiful Winter Park, FL. We offer high quality and progressive medical, dental, and surgical care to a devoted community following. Our experienced team of collaborative doctors and skilled support staff make the hospital a great place to practice excellent medicine and for mentorship for newer veterinarians. | Our team of doctors are learning-oriented with a focus on collaboration with frequent case discussions and mentorship opportunities. Our doctors are especially known for their surgical skills with difficult cases. Our highly skilled staff are seasoned and knowledgeable, including trained surgical technicians and a dental technician. The technician team do a wonderful job in ensuring cases run smoothly. Flexibility and a balanced schedule are important to us. We also schedule procedure days and prompt care days, so the pressure is off, and you are not trying to work cases into your appointments. We value time away from work, to enjoy time with our families, enjoy our amazing city, and travel. While at work we have fun with celebrating each other’s milestones, teambuilding activities, and our mutual love of great food. About the Hospital: Our hospital is a modern building that offers state-of-the-art medical care. We have 7 exam rooms, a double surgical suite with Electrocautery and Surgical laser, and special procedures room with endoscopy. We provide our patients with quality medicine through complete whole-life services: wellness, preventative care, general medicine, prompt care, advanced dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. The hospital offers equipment to provide all inhouse diagnostics including State of the art digital radiography, including dental, Digital ultrasound, EKG, Full in-house laboratory as well as referral lab availability. About the Area: Winter Park is an upscale suburban city in the Orlando area. McAbee Veterinary hospital is 10 minutes from Park Ave’s premier shopping and dining. The area hosts art shows, festivals and concerts throughout the year. There is a variety of housing nearby including suburban homes in Winter Park or nearby Oviedo or modern lofts in College Park. If you love the water, Winter Park’s chain of lakes offer boating and fishing, and the beach is an easy hour drive.
