Wellness Veterinary Hospital and Diagnostic Center is a new 24 hour first-class, privately-owned, multi-disciplined advanced diagnostics and treatment centre out in the beautiful New Territories of Hong Kong.

WVHDC was established in 2016 and has been rapidly growing since. From a small-scale one-vet clinic, we are now a multi-vet busy hospital in a new purpose-built state-of-the-art 6000 sq ft facility with mobile clinic branch servicing greater Hong Kong area. We are well equipped with all brand new 2022 equipment: VIMAGO™ HDVI CT scanner, DR X-ray, rigid and flexible endoscopy, dental radiology, extensive IH laboratory, two surgical theatres, therapeutic laser, separate isolation, access to blood bank in hospital, and designated hydrotherapy and physiotherapy room.

We have a large and varied caseload, from intriguing second opinion cases to emergency surgical cases. Other than conventional medicine, we also offer exotics, TCM, rehabilitation, and palliative care.

We prioritize the emotional well-being of our colleagues and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and compassionate patient care.  We understand that the quality of patient care is a reflection of your level of support and resources so we:

• Have veterinary assistants that either hold diplomas in vet nursing or are studying to complete AIRC Cert II/IV dipoma. All our veterinary technicians have veterinary degrees from overseas
• Proactively engage in case discussions and emphasize the importance of continuing education
• Have not held back on expenses in the new expansion. All the diagnostic tools to pinpoint that definitive diagnosis in a challenging case is under one roof.
• Have become one of few blood banks on HK with canine and feline pRBC.
• Can offer a mentorship program with one of the senior veterinarians who have over 15 years experience as clinicians.
• Provide group medical insurance.
• Have a solid back-end support staff for procurement, marketing, accounting etc. Our WVH group manager has over 15 years of experience in the industry.

For junior and senior vets (5 Years Plus Experience)

• Day Shift Veterinarian:

Junior Vets - Willingness to learn and grow, adaptable and works well as a team. Fresh grads will start at ward duties and basic consults & surgeries and progress from this point.

Senior vets - Independent, solo charge vet with special interest in certain fields are desirable (IM, critical care, surgery, exotics, TCVM etc). Candidate must have good communication skills and respect teamwork.

Generous salary plus personal turnover bonus, CPD allowance, relocation allowance for overseas candidates and visa sponsorship.

• Night Shift Veterinarian:

Night Shift Position: 3.5 days a week (alternating 3 or 4 nights per week), 12 hours per shift; may need to work on statutory holidays, days worked will be compensated by time off or payment in lieu.

Candidate main duties are to see emergency cases and stabilize critical in-patients.

Candidate should genuinely love animals, have basic computer skills, be conscientious, and is a friendly team player. Multilinguistic additional advantage.

Candidates should have minimum 3-5 years experience in the industry, ER/ECC relevance background or certification an advantage.

Salary ranges from HKD $80,000 - $150,000 per month, with room of negotiation, depending on:

• years worked in the industry, ability to do extra duties (e.g. training junior staff)
• special abilities (e.g. exotics animals ER, fluency in endoscopy)
• and higher qualification (e.g. Internship, Diploma, Membership, Board Certification).

Candidates with lesser experienced might be considered if one has relevant background and has outstanding performance.

Overseas candidates VISA sponsorship (including kins) and relocation allowance.
