Huntsville Veterinary Specialists & Emergency, Inc. is seeking a full-time emergency doctor to join our rapidly growing hospital. We currently have two board-certified surgeons, a board-certified neurologist, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, a part-time exotic specialist and a team of emergency doctors (both full-time and relief doctors) providing after-hours emergency care.  Our emergency services are currently operational after-hours from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am Monday through Friday, with 24-hour emergency care on weekends and holidays. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, a 16 slice CT scan, and a 1.5T MRI. HVSE is also equipped with a recently purchased Storz endoscopy tower.

With the state’s longest-running symphony, Broadway musicals and stage acts, Huntsville draws audiences from a broad region.  People from throughout the world visit area historic districts, museums and attractions including the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp.  Sports enthusiasts enjoy professional minor league baseball and football, college and professional hockey, plus several outdoor activities.  Mountains, lakes, woodlands, and the Tennessee River accommodate numerous recreational activities.  A temperate climate enhances the season for outdoor sports, including world-class golf, hiking, biking, and fishing.  Additionally, Huntsville recently completed a state-of-the-art amphitheater.
