Connecticut Equine Clinic pllc has an immediate opening for an associate veterinarian.

We are an equine exclusive, 3 veterinarian (expanding to 4 veterinarians), ambulatory practice located in Northeast Connecticut.  5 miles from UCONN, and only a short drive to Boston, New York City, the ocean and the mountains.

The practice was established in 1987, offering high quality care to a wide variety of horses in all disciplines.  We provide primary care, sports medicine, reproduction, chiropractic, podiatry services and emergency care to our patients.

We have digital radiography, ultrasonography, video endoscope and gastroscope, shockwave and power dentistry equipment.  As well, we utilize PRP, IRAP, Pro-Stride, and Alpha 2EQ for treatment of joint and soft tissue injuries.   A fully equipped practice vehicle, license fees, liability insurance, health and dental insurance, membership dues and CE stipend are provided.  Each doctor has a regularly scheduled 4-day work week, evenly divided on-call coverage, and 2 weeks paid vacation. 

We foster a personal, close relationship with our clients, and staff.  Veterinarians work well together and collaborate on cases to create strong continuity of care.  New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, as well as more experienced practitioners who are looking for a career in an environment with a real family feel.
