Army Trail Animal Hospital in Bartlett, Illinois is seeking a full or part time veterinarian to join our growing small animal and exotic practice.  We are located in Bartlett, IL in the western suburbs of Chicago and are seeking a 4th veterinarian to join our established and expanding practice.  We are looking for a veterinarian that shares our compassion for veterinary medicine with our patients, clients and co-workers.  We are seeking a veterinarian who is also compassionate, personable and enthusiastic to join our hard working and dedicated team. We are a well established, fully staffed and always growing practice specializing in the care and treatment of our canine and feline friends as well as a wide variety of exotics. Our mission is to treat both clients and patients like family, providing exceptional client communication and high quality medicine. We are an animal practice that focuses on providing the highest quality care to our patients, while creating lasting client relationships. While working with established veterinarians and well trained staff, we are able to provide the daily mentorship for an enthusiastic new graduate, but also able to provide the support staff and clientele for an experienced high producing veterinarian.  With flexible scheduling options we prioritize our work/family life balance.  

We are considering both experienced veterinarians and new graduates with either full time or part time availability.  As a small animal and exotic practice, exotic experience is not required, as the majority of our patients are canine and feline, with opportunity to expand our exotics practice for the experienced exotics veterinarian. At Army Trail Animal Hospital, you can expect to see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases on a daily basis with a wide variety of species. Our experienced and well-trained support staff is ready to support our doctors with every patient.

Our clinic provides in house Idexx laboratory including Procyte, Catalyst, and Sedivue, digital radiology and digital Dental radiology to improve our quality of care and efficiency. We have recently added in house Ultrasound and are also adding Companion Laser Therapy.

We offer a 4 to 4 1/2 day work week for full time veterinarians with rotating Saturdays off.

Benefits include:  Health insurance, 401K, paid dues, license fees and liability insurance.  We also offer 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays off, discounts for personal pets and  discount feeding programs.  Sign on bonus is available.

Our practice is open from 8 am to 6 pm Monday thru Friday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday.  No emergency or after hours duties and we are closed on Major Holidays.

Bartlett is a friendly, quiet, family orientated suburb west of Chicago. We are looking to add a doctor to our 3.5 doctor practice. We provide high quality care to our pet patients and their owners in a welcoming, friendly, relaxed environment. Our highly trained, experienced and confident support staff enjoys working with both pets and people and focus on client education to improve quality care for our patients. Our new, state of the art facility includes digital radiology, in house lab featuring Catalyst, Procyte and Sedivue, Cornerstone software, digital dental x-ray and wellness plans.
