Neighborhood Pet Health Center is a family owned, freestanding, small animal veterinary hospital located in the heart of North Richland Hills, Texas. Owned and operated since 2011 by Dr. Russell Johnson, he brings over 30 years of experience in every aspect of veterinary medicine to the area. Neighborhood Pet Health Center has been awarded with the Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite the last 5 years for the best veterinarian in North Richland Hills. The clinic is also very involved in the community with Dr. Johnson being on the board for the local animal shelter as well as offering services and working closely with Canine Companion for Independence. Our technical support staff is fully staffed with highly qualified members who have been a part of the Neighborhood Pet Health Center family for a combined total 40 years. 
 
The clinic is a spacious 5200 sq ft facility; there are four examination rooms, two surgical suites with all updated anesthetic monitoring and surgical equipment to make surgery seamless. We offer Isoflurane and Sevoflurane for our anesthetic protocols with oxygen drop lines throughout the entire treatment area of the hospital. There is a fully stocked food room with Hill's, Purina, and Royal Canin being the doctors most recommended veterinary diets used. We have all up-to-date equipment from digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, Companion Animal laser therapy, brand new GE Versana Balance ultrasound, Tonovet rebound tonometer, CryoProbe pen for noninvasive procedures and full in-house laboratory from Idexx. Currently the practice is using AVImark as its practice management software with access to Rapport which allows for easy client/doctor communication. 
 
Neighborhood Pet Health Center is looking to add an enthusiastic, self-motivated associate veterinarian that has great work ethic and people skills to join our two doctor practice with an ever growing clientele. We are open to mentorship for new veterinary graduates at this time as well.  We are offering a competitive salary with ProSal, and up to a $120000 signing bonus with added benefits.

Dr. Russell Johnson has been the owner and operator of Neighborhood Pet since 2012, and has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 30+ years. Our facility has all up-to-date equipment from fill in-house laboratory IDEXX equipment, new digital dental radiograph equipment, and advanced imaging with the latest ultrasound equipment. Neighborhood Pet Health Center is a spacious 5500 square foot freestanding veterinary practice with 4 examination rooms, large work space for technical staff and doctors with two separate surgical suites.
