Rosedale Animal Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland is growing and looking for an associate veterinarian to join our team. We are a full-service companion animal hospital that has been caring for dogs, cats, and pocket pets in our community since 1976. Our clients are loyal and appreciate the extra steps we take to educate them on their pet’s care.

Our renovated facility includes:

• A surgery suite with multiparameter monitors and cautery
• A dental suite including a digital dental radiology unit
• In-house DR digital x-ray capabilities
• In-house laboratory (as well as outside reference lab)
• A hospitalization area with a separate infectious disease ward
• A therapeutic laser

More about us:

• We have a variety of referral/ER practices close by, that way our doctors do not work any overnights or have any on-call requirements. We have access to specialists in every field! 
• We work with a traveling surgeon onsite as well as an ultrasound group run by a boarded radiologist.
• Our focus is on quality over quantity. That includes 30-minute appointments, with time to discuss recommendations and diagnoses.
• We have many experienced technicians and support staff, some who have been with us for more than 20 years.

• We’re looking for someone who wants to join us long term!
• We encourage mentorship and with our long tenured staff, a new grad would always have support.
• This position would also benefit an experienced vet who doesn’t want to work themselves into the ground! 
• While we presently do not provide avian or reptile care, if that is your interest, we would be happy to provide that opportunity (and clients who would be happy to provide you patients).
• We pay close attention to schedules to ensure work/life balance and the wellbeing of our doctors and support staff.
• We see emergency visits during office hours. There are no on-call or after hours requirements for our doctors. Any emergency that needs additional care is referred to our local ER/specialty center. 

Our practice is just outside the Baltimore city limits, so it’s a quick ride to downtown, which offers great restaurants, theaters, music venues, and night life. Baltimore is located right on the Chesapeake Bay, which boasts opportunities for boating, fishing, and all kinds of watersports, and we’re close to plenty of hiking trails and any kind of outdoor recreation.
