Lynchburg Veterinary Hospital is a unique small animal practice in a pleasant tourist town with wonderful clientele and a superb long-term veterinary team. We are seeking an associate veterinarian who possesses great compassion, a good sense of humor, patience and excellent communications skills. A desire to eventually own the practice is a plus! Our hospital was started in 2012 and occupies a historic house in the center of Lynchburg that we furnished to feel like a home and not a medical facility. We are the only veterinary hospital in the county, and we have clients that drive through several counties to see us! We are a husband/wife DVM team with over 50 years of combined veterinary experience. He does the veterinary work (and was named Veterinarian of the Year in 2 states over his career!), she is the practice manager, and this is the second successful practice we have started. Our desire is for the new associate to work 4 days a week plus 1 Saturday morning a month, with all the usual benefits, and salary based on experience. Lynchburg Vet has been a one-doctor practice since we opened, but it’s time for us to expand.
