We are looking for a small animal associate(s) to join Southeast Missouri's best veterinary team! Hillcrest Animal Hospital is a large practice that has a long legacy of providing high quality medicine and surgery to a large region since the early 60's - currently our team is maxed out and that is why we need YOU to hop onboard! The hospital is mixed animal in nature but still primarily small animal with a few exotics sprinkled in here and there. The team of doctors at Hillcrest share the same goal of practicing in the most up to date way. We have an amazing team of support staff who are well trained and can function independently after given a task to handle. The hospital is equipped with the latest Idexx in house diagnostic equipment such as CBC, multiple chemistry analyzers, urinalysis machine, low radiation digital radiography and a CT! We also have ultrasound capability for both large and small animal, as well as a portable digital radiography unit for use in the field if needed.

-Fast paced Urgent Care clinic with flexible scheduling

-Wellness practice with no weekends, no long hours, no hospitalizations, and minimal surgery

We can accommodate full time at either location or a rotation that incorporates both styles of practice for some variety.  

Hillcrest Animal Hospital is located in Poplar Bluff, MO which isn't your typical small town. It is experiencing rapid growth and is a great place to have an active family! We have public and private education options for children and there are endless outdoor activity opportunities in the surrounding area from hiking and biking to kayaking and boating! There are also so many community organizations that your calendar can be as full or empty as you want it to be!

We are looking for a full-time small animal veterinarian who is committed to serving clients and their pets by offering everyday client education in an expanding practice setting. We would love someone who is proficient in practicing medicine and general surgery but realizes that with an existing team of multiple doctors anything you need help with can always be a team effort. Again, we can offer urgent care or wellness environments whichever fits your style!

Hillcrest Animal Hospital is a busy full service mixed animal practice in Poplar Bluff, MO. We service many of the surrounding counties. The large animal aspect of this hospital is newer and growing but this small animal practice has been well established for many years. We offer our clients: in house lab equipment, digital radiology, ultrasound, as well as, surgical and therapeutic lasers.
