Harrisonburg Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our award-winning hospital and team!  We are located in the City of Harrisonburg, which is in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  Harrisonburg is a quaint yet fast-developing city hosting 3 active universities and colleges, with easy access to Shenandoah National Forest, D.C., Virginia Beach, Asheville, and other recreational areas/activities. Known as "The Friendly City," Harrisonburg is a great place to live as a young professional or to raise a family. 

Harrisonburg Animal Hospital is the longest standing small animal clinic in Harrisonburg.  Our focus is high-quality compassionate care, and long-lasting relationships with our patients and clients.  We pride ourselves on our amazing clientele and long-time employees.  We are seeking an energetic, committed Veterinarian to join our team 40 hours a week.  We do not require after hours on-call, and do not have weekend hours.  Our associates work four days per week.  We are a family-friendly practice that is focused on both our working family but also your family needs.  The hospital was purchased by Dr. Maureen Ward in 2016, who is a 2009 graduate from VMRCVM.  Our hospital has won multiple "Best of" awards in our area, because of our awesome team!  Experienced practitioners and new graduates are encouraged to apply.  

Our hospital has digital radiography, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, panoramic dental radiography, endoscopy, a dedicated cat treatment ward, a dedicated dental suite, two surgery suites(to include advanced orthopedics), and five exam rooms.  Our doctors are great people to bounce cases off of, and we all work towards the goal of serving our community.  

We offer a competitive salary based on level of experience, with packages between $110,000-$130,000.  We also offer quarterly production bonuses with no negative accrual.
