Cat Care Center of Baton Rouge is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our growing team. We are the premier boutique feline-only veterinary hospital in the area, offering gold standard of feline-friendly techniques set forth by the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners).

At Cat Care Center, we take pride in being a full-service feline-only hospital equipped with state-of-the-art technology in a facility designed exclusively for the comfort of cats. Our focus is on providing high-quality veterinary medicine, specializing in internal medicine, diagnostics, feline dentistry, surgery, life stage and pain management, feline behavior, preventative medicine, and client education. We also offer boarding services in our feline-exclusive boarding resort.

What We're Looking For:

Feline Dental Experience: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in feline dental care, including basic extraction experience. Your expertise in this area will be invaluable in providing the best dental care to our feline patients.

Ultrasound Skills: Proficiency in basic ultrasound is a definite plus, enabling us to enhance our diagnostic capabilities and provide comprehensive care.

Knowledge of Feline Friendly Techniques: Familiarity with the cat-friendly techniques outlined by AAFP is a must. We believe in practicing veterinary medicine with a focus on creating a stress-free environment for our feline patients, and we need someone who shares this philosophy.

Detail-Oriented & Compassionate: We value attention to detail and compassion towards our feline patients. If you are a meticulous, caring individual with excellent communication skills, you'll fit right into our team.

Passionate About Feline Well-Being: We are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic about educating cat owners and helping them improve the lives of their feline companions.

About Cat Care Center

The Cat Care Center of Baton Rouge began as a heart whisper early on in Dr. Lacie Lee's journey to becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Lacie has always held a special place in her heart for cats and even contemplated feline only practice in 2002 when she graduated from Louisiana State University. Dr. Lacie has spent many years as a small animal veterinarian with a specific focus on feline medicine, behavior and surgery. In August of 2017 she began to work with Cat Haven, Baton Rouge's feline only shelter, as a volunteer veterinarian. This was the spark that truly clarified all of her passion for all things feline. In July of 2018 Dr. Lacie realized her dream of bringing a veterinary hospital specifically designed from the point of view of the cat, considering all things most important to the cat, as well as a place where the community can come together to share, bond, heal and love all things feline and the vision of Cat Care Center of Baton Rouge was born. Cat Care Center embodies all the aspects of Dr. Lacie's passion for feline veterinary medicine- CCC- Compassionate Care and Customer Service. And the other three C's- Cats, Coffee and Crystals. Cat Care Center is a team of feline-centric veterinary care professionals eager to create a unique feline only experience.
