Responsibilities:

Successful applicant will provide canine and feline emergency/urgent/critical care while maintaining exemplary customer service.  We love our clients and employees; we expect them to be treated with kindness by all members of the team.  You will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of dedicated veterinary assistants and technicians during your shift while they do treatments, diagnostics and communicate the financial aspects of the visit with the client.  Proficiency in both medical and surgical case management is necessary.  Must be comfortable in surgery and high paced environment where multitasking is required.  Experience with Avimark is beneficial but not required.  Essential to have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and be a team player.  Motivated new graduates with an interest in emergency medicine and surgery are encouraged to apply.  We have mentored other new graduates and are happy to do the same for you.  

Schedule:

Rotating schedule consisting of days, nights, weekends and holidays.  This position is for 12 shifts per month (average 4 days/week) with 9 days in a row off every 6 weeks.  Possibility for part-time position as well.   Full-time rotating schedule provides good chunks of time off.  12-hour shifts.  No on call.  Flexible schedule and ample time off set this opportunity apart and allows you time to enjoy all that Montana has to offer!

Benefits: 

• 20K Signing Bonus.

• Guaranteed base salary (100K based on average of 12 shifts per month)
• Additional bonuses paid based on quarterly production brings total annual compensation to $125K - $175K.

Pet Emergency Center is a growing regional emergency hospital. The clinic is well established and trusted in the veterinary community and has been in continuous operation since 2003.
