Independent, Productive AAHA-accredited Practice Seeking Talented Associate DVM

Seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team full-time. Is your passion to provide high quality medicine with a loving touch for your clients and patients? Is helping teammates develop their skills and rise higher another obsession?

Our ideal candidate is an experienced small animal veterinarian with solid clinical, dental, surgical, communication and professional skills with a love of partnering with clients to develop the best care plan/s for their beloved pets. We are also open to hiring and developing a new graduate veterinarian as an associate with a strong, tried and true mentoring program. He/She/They will also delight in helping to mentor younger veterinarians and help to grow the knowledge and skills of our veterinary nursing team. We are an independent, family-owned small animal practice seeing cats and dogs; exotics can be seen based on DVM comfort level. AAHA-Accredited and practicing Fear Free™/low stress handling and always offering excellence in client and patient care.

• No after-hours emergency calls – in fact, our overnight calls are answered by a local veterinary emergency clinic so owners can speak directly with an emergency doctor. We do not provide boarding or overnight care given our proximity to great boarding and veterinary referral options.
• Work/life balance with a 4-day week and every 3^rd Saturday with a dedicated day weekly for anesthetic procedures.
• Well equipped with in-house lab, digital radiology (the majority of our radiographs are evaluated by a radiology telemedicine service with both routine and stat capabilities), digital dental radiology, cold laser. Our Medical Director performs acupuncture.
• A highly skilled and eager-to-assist nursing team that allows our doctors to spend their time being a doctor diagnosing and treating patients.
• Easy access to many mobile specialists as well as local specialty referral facilities, including Colorado State University.

The fine print:  Must be a graduate DVM of an accredited veterinary medical college with three or more years’ experience including solid dentistry and soft tissue surgical skills; licensed or willing to become licensed in Colorado; USDA accredited or willing to become accredited for interstate and international health certificates. DEA licensure appreciated but not required. **We are willing to consider a new graduate veterinarian to mentor and develop your skills to be a successful associate; two of our current associates came to us as new grads. Salary is based on production commensurate with experience ($100,000-125,000), generous continuing education allowance, health insurance and more.
