Canyons Veterinary Clinic in Cottonwood Heights Utah, is looking for a full or part time Associate Veterinarian to join our diverse team. We are a privately owned practice in the beautiful Salt Lake valley. Candidates should enjoy client interaction and educating clients about their pets. Providing clients with sensible treatment options and exceptional customer service is our goal. We have great clients that are receptive to recommended diagnostics and treatment which has made practicing veterinary medicine very rewarding for our team.

We are a paperless practice, with cloud-based practice management software that integrates with all of our vendors to increase overall efficiency while cutting down on everyone’s work load.  We want our staff to spend their time where it counts, educating clients, and not doing pointless paperwork. We run most blood work inhouse on brand new equipment and send out fecals, urine and advanced panels. Our HD DR Cloud x-ray unit links directly to our practice management software so our doctors can easily review radiographs with clients in the exam room.

We love to encourage our doctors’ passions in the clinic. Our first associate was trained in small animal acupuncture, Chinese medicine and chiropractic manipulation, so we said great, let’s incorporate this into the practice.  Clients that are interested in those fields love it and it has been increasing in demand year after year. If you have an area of interest you would like to explore, we would love to hear more about it.

All our appointments are scheduled, we don't double book appointments or operate on a walk-in basis. We do our best to minimize the clients wait and maximize their time with our staff. There is nothing worse than having to apologize to every client because you are running 45 minutes behind! We manage the schedule so that doesn’t happen. We have also built in ‘call back time’ in the morning, lunch from 12-1pm, then catch up time built into the afternoon.  There is no on call/out of hours work, our last appointments are at 5pm so it’s a rare occurrence if our doctors leave after 6pm. We are currently closed Saturday and Sunday. We want our Doctors and staff to enjoy work and still have a home life! Canyons Veterinary Clinic is located on the east side of the Salt Lake Valley. We are minutes away from world class skiing, mountain biking and hiking. We are also just a short drive to Salt Lake City center and the Salt Lake City airport.

About Canyons Veterinary Clinic

Canyons Veterinary Clinic was founded by Dr. Heather Moreau in September 2019. Our facility was remodeled in 2019 and has 5 exam rooms, a surgery suite, treatment room with wet table, digital x-ray, digital microscope and inhouse blood work. We are currently a 3 full time Doctor practice and growing. We are located on the east side of the Salt Lake City Valley in Cottonwood Heights Utah.
