Brazos Woods Veterinary Clinic is a progressive 3 DVM small animal practice seeking a new graduate or experienced veterinarian in a small rural town (pop 26,000) 45 minutes south of Houston in Lake Jackson.  Working with us will enable you to lead the type of life you’ve always dreamed of with work-life balance at a practice where all the employees are valued and appreciated.   There is a real sense of trust and security here.  Since 1975 we have tended to the needs of our community with the highest quality care and compassion. 

Lake Jackson is a small (pop 26,000) town full of southern hospitality, and a welcoming community with a 20-minute drive to the beach.  The economy is great with Dow as the major employer in the area.  The schools are excellent.  Our area is growing yet still has very affordable houses and land.

Shifts: 4-1/2 days per week,

3:1 DVM to techs/assistants’ ratio,

We’re paperless-Cornerstone,

Equipment: Digital whole-body x-ray, anesthesia monitoring, In house Lab, IDEXX, etc.

An experienced veterinarian or new graduate who has confidence in the exam room and a good bedside manner,

Works well with others and is a good team player,

Passionate about veterinary medicine and enjoys teaching clients and staff.

Compensation and Benefits:

Generous guaranteed compensation and production to $150K
